Barbara-Lynn is a well-known, respected speaker and workshop presenter. She has dazzled hundreds of audiences from Florida to British Columbia and from New Jersey to Texas and at many stops in-between. For five years she served as the Educational Consultant on the CBS affiliate serving the Piedmont North Carolina. In that role, she discussed school, children, families, and parenting skills. She created and hosted a radio talk show "Make Time For Children" and has been heard in interviews on radio stations across the country. She currently shares parenting information on her local NBC affiliate in a weekly feature called "Raising Your Kids". A former teacher and school counselor, Barbara-Lynn is the author and co-producer of the highly-acclaimed video-based parenting series, Successful Parenting.

She received her bachelor's degree in Early Childhood Education and Home Economics. She has a Master's Degree in Guidance and Counseling. Married and the mother of two boys, Barbara-Lynn lives with her family in Winston-Salem, NC.
